Career Transition Stories: Finding Success at Novellus
Embarking on a new career is both exhilarating and daunting, and having the right support can make all the difference.
For Emma, Sheil, and Dan, who all started working at Novellus beginning of September, the recruitment journey was notably enriched by the dedicated assistance provided by add-victor. Here’s a glimpse into how add-victor made a significant impact on their onboarding experiences.
Tailored Support for a Smooth Recruitment Journey
From the very beginning, add-victor stood out with their personalised approach. Each of us—Emma, Sheil, and Dan—benefited from tailored support that went beyond the conventional recruitment process. The team took the time to understand our individual career goals and preferences, ensuring they matched us with roles that were truly aligned with our aspirations. Their thorough research into Novellus and other potential employers provided valuable insights, helping us navigate the selection process with confidence.
Proactive Communication Eases the Transition
One of the standout aspects of add-victor’s support was their proactive communication with Novellus. They skilfully liaised with the company, smoothing out any concerns and managing logistics during a particularly busy period for us—our exam season. This thoughtful intervention not only relieved stress but also allowed us to focus on our studies and sports without the added pressure of managing job applications concurrently.
The experience with add-victor was marked by exceptional support at every stage of our journey, from initial recruitment to our continued development in our new roles. Their dedication to personalised service and consistent follow-up made a significant difference for all three of us, and played a crucial role in our successful onboarding at Novellus.

“My first month is going great. I have been exposed to the different moving parts in the business whilst maintaining a focus on getting up to speed with the current deals that the credit team has got live and is looking to do due diligence on. I am mostly focusing on underwriting loans in the UK market.
The people at the company have been very welcoming. There is very jovial culture at the office, everyone works hard and a light-hearted environment makes it quite stimulating."
Dan: American Football player, University of Leeds graduate, now Data Analyst 🏈
"My first few weeks have been really enjoyable. From meeting all of my new colleagues, to having my own desk! I have especially enjoyed meeting the Novellus Finance Ireland team and look forward to seeing them again soon.
I have been working mainly within the data team, helping them with the ongoing data migration project, helping to implement a larger CRM, something which will be fundamental to the growth of Novellus in the coming years. My analytical mind will allow me to thrive in the data team, embracing any task I am given with enthusiasm. I’m excited about the future, eager to learn more about Novellus, and see what new opportunities it brings."
Emma: Futsal player, University of Oxford graduate, now Strategist Analyst ⚽
"I have thoroughly enjoyed my first few weeks at Novellus. The team has been incredibly supportive as we’ve settled in, and it was a pleasure to meet our colleagues from the Dublin office during their recent visit. My current focus has been on underwriting UK loans, but going forward I will also have the opportunity to work across other departments. This exposure will give me a comprehensive understanding of how different areas of the business operate. I’m looking forward to further developing my skills and making meaningful contributions to Novellus as I continue to grow with the company."
